Wrapping Up the Semester

  It’s hard to believe, but it’s the final week of blogs—which means I am just about finished with my social media minor! How crazy is that? It feels both surreal and incredibly exciting. I can’t believe the fall semester is already coming to a close. This semester has been a whirlwind of emotions, packed with projects, assignments, work commitments and everything in between. Despite the chaos, I feel proud of the effort I’ve put into my work, even during the busiest times. This week has been a balancing act as I wrap up the final details for my capstone project and submit my binder. Capstone has been such a meaningful and challenging experience for me, and it feels good to see everything come together. In addition, I’ve managed to complete significant portions of two major projects that are due on the Monday of finals week, which feels like a huge weight off my shoulders. A Memorable Thanksgiving Break in Wisconsin

    Last week was Thanksgiving break, and it started on a relaxing note. I spent the beginning of the week catching up on schoolwork, which felt productive and even met with a close friend for coffee. We had a great time chatting and catching up on life. By Tuesday, I had everything packed and ready for our family trip to Wisconsin where we would be spending the holiday. On Wednesday morning, my family and I left for Wisconsin where most of our relatives live. My parents are originally from there, so we always celebrate Thanksgiving with extended family and save Christmas for a quieter celebration at home. We arrived at my grandma Sharon’s house, my dad’s mom, around 4 p.m. After relaxing for a short while, some of our family members joined us for dinner followed by an evening of card games.
